MoJo Mercantile began with a simple idea: your home should be filled with things you genuinely love—not just things that happen to match.

I’ve always been drawn to pieces with personality. The unexpected object on a bookshelf. The glassware you reach for when company comes over. The slightly unusual piece of art that somehow makes the entire room work. Things that feel collected over time rather than purchased all at once.

That’s the idea behind MoJo.

MoJo Mercantile is a curated home and lifestyle shop for the eclectically minded. Here you’ll find a mix of contemporary homewares, artful objects, kitchen and tabletop goods, books, stationery, and other interesting finds chosen because they bring something special to a space.

I’m not interested in filling the shop with hundreds of versions of the same thing. I want MoJo to feel like wandering into a really good little shop and thinking, Oh, I haven’t seen that before.

There’s no single “MoJo style.” You’ll find pieces that are classic, playful, sophisticated, nostalgic, unexpected—and sometimes a little weird in the best possible way. What connects them is character.

And yes, there’s a story behind the name.

MoJo comes from my name, Morgan Johnson, but the word itself felt fitting from the beginning. Mojo is that little something extra—a spark, a quality you can’t always define but immediately recognize. That’s exactly what I want the pieces in this shop to have.

MoJo Mercantile is starting small and intentionally. Every item in our opening collection has been individually selected to help establish what this shop is going to be: eclectic, thoughtful, distinctive, and fun to explore.

This is just the beginning, and I’m so glad you found us at the start.
